Stitch & Family
Glad you could make it by! Come on in here and lets get acquainted. My name is Jane, better known as Stitchalot. Most of my friends call me Stitch. I am from a small town in Oklahoma. And when I say small I am talking around 1200 people. It is mostly a farming community but there is also a hydrocarbon plant here which employs a lot of the people. So most people either farm or work at the plant.
I am married to a wonderful man named Gene. He married into my already made family and has done a awesome job! He has worked at the hydrocarbon plant I mentioned for 25 years, and will retire in 6 more. That's a scarey thought! He better not want to take up computers as a hobby!
I work at the local Newspaper and really enjoy my work. We put out a weekly newspaper for my town and one other. I have lots of hobbies, which some I get time to do more than others! As you can see my main hobby I think is becoming the computer. Must be why I never get any of my other ones done. I love to crochet, cross stitch, and I have a thing about recipes! I love to collect them. I also do sewing and alterations which takes up a lot of my spare time.
I have 3 absolutely wonderful children! They all live right here in the same town which makes it really nice. My oldest son, Chris, works for a car dealership and is married to a great gal. They have 3 children. My daughter, Kim, which some of you might know better as Card 1987 lives just down the street and is married to a wonderful guy, and they have 2 little girls. The youngest is my son, Greg. He will be a Senior this year and thank god is not married! LOL At the moment he is into cars, motorcycles, and football.
Okay..now for the grandkids! I have 5 of the little darlings, and they are each so special! Everyone should have grandkids! It is so much fun to sit back and watch your children be parents. Sometimes it is hard to keep from giving advise, but they have to learn just like I did. Now of course if they should happen to ask for some, I will be more than happy to give my opinion, and I won't guarantee they will take it! But I just think of it as giving them an option. If I do say so myself, they have done a wonderful job in the parent department, and have some awfully great kids!
